Hypospadias

Hypospadias is a congenital disease affecting one in every 250 live birth boys.

In this case, the urinary opening lies away from the tip of the penis.

It had different grades and may be associated with curvature or bending of the penis and the scrotum may also be in an abnormal position.

The affected child should be corrected at his first birthday day, or maximum at 18 months of his age.

Delayed surgery may affect the psychic condition of the baby, and it may make surgery a little bit difficult.

Surgery should be done with general anaesthesia, and the child should be kept in the hospital under observation for a couple of days.

The results should be perfect, and the baby will resume his normal body image and normal urination from the tip of his penis with a straightforward stream.

My experience built up along the last 40 years, as I  was dedicated to this type of surgery, since 1992 when I was working with the most famous highly specialised sugeon in Manchester, UK, after that I supervised numerous international conferences and workshop to refine the art of surgery for this common problem.

I wrote many chapters in the international textbooks about hypospadias and I published tens of articles in a prestigious international journals.

I’m doing this operation not only in Egypt, but also in Leipzig, Germany and many other Arabic countries.

I operated in hundreds of children not only with the fresh problems, but also those who were operated several time and had a crippled hypostatic forms.

My results are the best among surgeons all over the world.
